Hello and welcome to Purebody x EMS!
I'm Leslie, owner of Purebody x EMS... here is a little more about me.
I am from the Midwest originally, raised in the country and on a lake. I was an athlete in high school focusing on volleyball and tennis. (That was twenty-five years ago, gasp!) While I would have always considered myself active (I love to hike, walk on the beach and take my dog around the neighborhood), I wasn’t actively working out consistently and my athlete days were way behind me. With having ADHD, I struggled with the gym (too much going on around me to stay focused), long workout sessions and staying motivated. I also didn’t know how to exercise for my body in a way where I saw results. Luckily, I have always been a healthy eater, but once I turned forty, my metabolism slowed down, I was losing muscle tone and gaining weight. I also suffered a shoulder injury my first time playing pickleball!
When I first saw my friend’s fitness transformation and heard she was doing a workout that required twenty minutes of her time a week- I was intrigued! It wasn’t until months later I gave WB-EMS a try. After 4 weeks, I noticed I had an increase in strength. After 8-12 weeks, I could see my body transforming with increased muscle tone/definition and a decrease in my hip to waist ratio. I have been hooked ever since and continuing my once a week workout for twenty minutes. I have been loving the increase to my overall wellness, injury prevention and building muscle. I have since incorporated a few twenty minute yoga sessions I do from home to work on my stretching, balance and breathwork. And of course I still hike and get to the beach whenever I can!
It is my mission to help as many people as I can with their own fitness journey. Our bodies are all unique, but with WB-EMS, you can become your best self and increase strength. It is especially important as we age to be able to maintain or increase our muscle mass since our bodies naturally start to decline in that department. I am delighted to be able to train you one-on-one and work with you on your fitness/wellness goals. (I have a WB-EMS training license from Miha Body-Tec, CPR certified, EMS Fitness Expert license and I am currently studying for my NASM personal training certification.)
My goal is to create a relaxing, peaceful and easy environment that is comfortable and welcoming for each client. I maintain my clients’ privacy, go over goals with a full body analysis and customize each workout. I look forward to working with you and helping you with your story!
